Privacy Policy

1. Purpose of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Agence Rose, a real estate agency based in Kinshasa, collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of its clients, prospects and website visitors.
It applies to all our services: website browsing, information requests, property visits, signing of mandates and property management.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We undertake to comply with generally accepted data protection principles applicable in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), including confidentiality, fairness and data security.

2. Personal data we collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide our real estate services: full name, contact details (phone, e‑mail, address), ID document copies, basic financial information related to the transaction, and property details (address, title deed, photos).
This data may be collected through online forms, phone calls, messaging apps, or in‑person meetings at our office.
Some technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may also be collected automatically to improve user experience on our website.
You may choose not to provide certain information, but this may limit access to some services (for example, contract signing or arranging a visit).

3. Purposes for using your data

Personal data is used to:

Analyse your real estate needs and respond to your information requests.

Propose, organise and track property visits.

Prepare mandates, sale agreements, lease contracts and property management files.

Ensure the administrative and accounting follow‑up of our activity (invoices, receipts, management reports).

Communicate with you about new offers, services or news from the agency, subject to your consent.
We do not use your data for purposes that are incompatible with these objectives, unless you give your explicit consent or a legal obligation requires it.

4. Data sharing and recipients

Your data may be shared, where strictly necessary, with certain recipients: notaries, lawyers, surveyors, banks, public authorities or technical partners involved in a real estate transaction.
We may also use IT service providers (web hosting, messaging tools, CRM) who process data on our behalf, under strict confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Data sharing mainly occurs within the DRC; if a transfer abroad is required (for example for hosting services), we ensure that appropriate security safeguards are in place.

5. Retention, security and user rights

Data is retained for as long as necessary to manage the contractual relationship, then archived for the legally required period under DRC civil, tax or commercial laws.
We implement reasonable security measures (passwords, restricted access, regular backups) to protect your information from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.
You have the right to access, correct and, in certain cases, request deletion of your personal data.
To exercise these rights, you may contact us using the e‑mail address on our Contact page or by sending a letter to our office in Kinshasa.
